The A2K Antibiotic Resistance Detection qPCR kit is designed to quickly and accurately detect genes associated with antibiotic resistance found in bacteria. This kit enables the detection of 29 unique genes that confer resistance to the most commonly prescribed antibiotics including: Sulfamethoxazole, Trimethoprim, Bactrim, Fluoroquinolones, Erythromycin, Tetracycline, Vancomycin, Methicillin, Ampicillin, Penicillin, Cephalosporin, and Carbapenem.
